THE PURPOSE
As an organization representing the Japanese pickleball world, we at PJF aim to create an international sports culture through pickleball, foster an inclusive society that promotes connections between people and a happy community, promote friendship among members, and contribute to the healthy promotion of the mind and body of the nation, as well as the improvement of physical fitness.

We at PJF carry out the following activities:
1. Promotion and development of pickleball in Japan
2. Planning and running domestic and international pickleball tournaments and events
3. Development of pickleball players, promotion of the sport, and training of coaches and referees
4. Pickleball instruction and research projects
5. Management of intellectual property rights and trademarks related to pickleball
6. Contributing to society and the world through pickleball
7. Other business activities necessary to achieve the objectives of this corporation
PJF Milestones
May 1, 2024: The Japan Pickleball Association, a general incorporated foundation, is established.
September 2024: Joins the Asian Pickleball Federation (AFP)
September 2024: PJF Chairperson Yuko Hayashi appointed as a mentor for the Asian Pickleball University Network.
November 2024: 60 Japanese representatives sent to the Asian Pickleball Games (APG) International Tournament
December 2024: First international tournament to be held at Ariake Tennis Forest Park
December 2024: In partnership with RPO, we conduct courses to acquire international coaching qualifications.
January 2025: Officially joins the World Pickleball Federation (WPF)
January 2025: Officially joins the IPF (International Pickleball Federation)
